Links the West to meet the East in a design & cultural exchange event, INTERDESIGN 2016 Symposium and Exhibition in West University of Timişoara, Romania, July 2016
IAJMPP was invited by the Faculty of Art and Design, West University of Timişoara, Romania (WUT) to participate their bi-annual design event INTERDESIGN 2016 – Timișoara International Symposium. The Symposium was held from 1 to 31 July 2016 in West University of Timişoara, Romania. It consisted of a series of design exhibitions and lectures given by international guests. IAJMPP had a great honour to work as a coordinator in linking the West to meet the East in this design and cultural exchange event. Through IAJMPP, the design works coming from the professors and students of Hubei University of Technology, Wuhan University of Engineering and Science, and designers from Shenzhen and Hong Kong were selected and displayed at the opening ceremony on the 18 July 2016, and also published in the design e-book. There were 225 projects submitted with a total of 136 designers throughout 11 countries from Europe and Asia. The project works were outstanding in terms of quality and quantity.
